Academic toppers of class X, XI, and XII were felicitated on 13th August, 2018. Parents proudly witnessed the ceremony, where the toppers were awarded with Certificates and Set of books as a token of appreciation.

  • APS CELEBRATED ITS 40th FOUNDER’S DAY AND 72nd INDEPENDENCE DAY

APS celebrated the 72nd Independence Day and 40th Founder’s Day of the school on 13th August 2018. The Chief Guest for the day was Sarthak Vijay, class XII topper in Board Exams with 98.4% marks. He hoisted the Tricolor high in the sky. The unfurling flag marking the importance of our freedom was saluted by the entire gathering with National Anthem. Sarthak Vijay, then addressed the highly passionate youngsters which was followed by the inspirational speech of our Principal, Mrs. Preeta Jain.

The cultural program added color to the patriotic fervor. Theme for the program was tricolor and the dances and compering revolved around the theme. The meaning of freedom in the current scenario was highlighted by a motivational speech and a poem.

Freedom was also celebrated by class-wise competitions of poster making, poetry writing and mehandi art.

Celebrations were in full swing and after the Independence Day program, the School Flag was hoisted by our Director Mr. Arjun Joshi to mark the 40th Founder’s Day of APS. It was saluted with the School Song. Then began another round of celebrations and the much awaited Inter-House School Quiz was conducted by class XII students. A video highlighting the journey of 40 years took everyone down the memory lane. It didn’t end there only, where a soulful medley presented by class XII singers touched the chords of everyone’s heart, the scintillating dancing numbers of AJ and the Angels made everyone tap their feet. It was indeed mesmerizing and left the audience asking for more when they saw Arjun Joshi Sir matching the steps with the group.

Our Chairman Sir, Mr. HDS Malhotra shared his thoughts with us and how the journey of this organization to the zenith had been. He wished good luck to the students and shared his vision for them.

At the end, Arjun Joshi Sir thanked everyone for their hard work to make the day memorable and wished good luck to his entire team. Sweets were distributed to students before the departure of the buses.
